The PB Arts Center Community Mural Project

Local artist Hilary Dufour generously volunteered her artistic talents to the PB Arts Center! Her efforts enabled our community to transform a simple shipping container into a vibrant symbol of creativity. The finished mural is now installed in the back parking lot of the PB Arts Center. Roll your bicycle or stroll by to enjoy this colorful celebration of community spirit—created by neighbors, for neighbors!

City Councilmember representative for District 1 Joe LaCava stopped by to admire the artwork, lend a hand with the painting and offer words of support for the project.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the following businesses for donating refreshments: Sandbox Pizza, Mr. Frostie, Mission Bagel, Coffee Cycle Roasting, and the Local H2O Store.
We’re also deeply grateful to all the community members who contributed additional snacks, drinks, supplies, tents, chairs, paint brushes, drop cloths, and more.
This project would not have been possible— or nearly as fun—without you!
Thanks to your support, the community can now enjoy a beautiful, vibrant mural that brightens the lot of the Pacific Beach Arts Center and will continue to inspire the heART of Pacific Beach for years to come.
